Many stories we’ve shared so far, if not all, carry some psychological or paranormal or cosmic aspects removing them from any high likelihood of happening to the average horror enthusiast. What follows does not follow this pattern, as it is grounded in reality … mostly. There’s is, of course, the matter of happily getting drunk with bears that is questionable at best, but this aside, the main points of the story do not seem too out of bounds of possibility.

There isn’t much of a twist; there are no bizarre turnings that raise this story to levels of strange or exceptional storytelling. This is a simple story, with a simple premise, and it delivers on both. There is, however, a gruesome and horrifying element to the treatment of the bears in old Black Jean’s care that cannot be ignored. But you’ll see what we mean as you progress through the story.
