Welcome to another classic horror feature! What follows is the second story to be featured by the author of The Immortal Hand, Arlton Eadie. The Immortal Hand was a curious story, less horror and more strange. The Avenging Shadow is quite different, with our protagonist being of a more sinister variety rather than a literary connoisseur. This brings a more sinister edge to the feature, of course, though the ending does bring a bit of a twist to what the narrative might otherwise suggest.
