Releasing a new installment of each attraction featured here—A Vampire’s Vengeance, House, Bus Driver—means I do not have the luxury to procrastinate any of them into oblivion. I must write, in order to publish on time. This has become a sure-fire way to ensure these attractions arrive at completion. Furthermore, presenting guest attractions means I must consume and experience a fair amount of them.

Reading and writing are two sides of the same coin; you cannot do one well without the other.

The Backstage Pass, then, has become a vehicle of motivation and consistency. I am forced to expand each attraction, edition after edition, solely for your perusal and enjoyment. And as you peruse and enjoy, these attractions near completion, little by little.

We are, you and I, symbiotic in this experience. Thank you for being on this journey with me. Now, let’s see what’s in store for you in this edition →

Warlock Queen is close to having the first major round of edits completed. What does this mean for you, my dear guest? It means you’ll soon hear about the next round of edits. Which sounds really annoying if you’re the kind of person who just wants to experience a new attraction, but I assure you this is necessary. Safety checks, inspections, all of it, are necessary parts of bringing an attraction to life. This process is for your own well being!

Okay, you might say, “But Mad Alex, what about A Vampire’s Vengeance? What about House? What about Bus Driver? We’re getting to experience these attractions raw!” And you would be correct. However, not all attractions can be opened with such carefree and wild abandon. Nor should they all! You get to experience the realtime production of three attractions, which is very cool. But you will also get to experience other attractions raised to production level and fully complete without having to deal with the scaffolding and dust and warning signs! And yes, I know what you’re thinking: “But Mad Alex, I have seen zero warning signs,” to which you would also be correct. This is horror, after all; I expect that you expect horrible things. Go enjoy all the horrible things we have in store for you here.
